Criteria for Promotion

Residents will be promoted each year based on satisfactory performance of, but not limited to:

1.  American Board of Dermatology, ACGME and Residency Review Committee criteria for training (see Attachment Q).

2. ACGME core competencies: patient care, medical knowledge, practice-based learning and improvement, interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and systems-based practice with expected progression along the Dermatology-specific Milestones (see Attachment R)

3.  Participation in all scheduled conferences.

4.  Evidence of ethical and compassionate care of patients.

5.  Professionalism and good citizenship.
